Lake City's "Starman," Phillip Virden has donated a FunScope 76mm Reflector Telescope to the Lake City Public Library. This telescope was designed specifically with first-time users in mind. The telescope kit (pictured below) includes: 3 lenses, an Orion Star Target, 50 Things to See With A Telescope (child and adult versions), a Moon Map, and a folding table. Instructions for use are also included. This telescope kit is available for checkout to patrons 18 and older for one week. Stop by the library and "check it out!"
